Field worker : The Backbone of CSI’s programs
Mothers have immense faith in her abilities and look up to her for advise on their own health and the health of their young kids…
As part of her daily routine, Sangeeta does a host of things, from conducting individual counseling sessions to organizing the samooh meetings…
her ability to explain things in the simplest of ways, makes her an effective worker…
CSI has about 70 such field workers who work in the communities with rag pickers, illiterate slum women, female sex workers, truckers and HIV positive adults and children….
they encourage children to come to learning centers, motivate mothers to get their children immunized, provide legal support to victims of domestic violence ,link people living with HIV to ART centers…
In fact they are the backbone of CSI’s programs
