Objectives:
- To facilitate regular & timely ART medication (complete adherence) to children living
with HIV and develop prompt health seeking behavior amongst their families
- To provide nutrition support, psychosocial support and regular growth monitoring
to children living with HIV.

Project Brief:
The main activities of the project are:
- Provision of monthly nutritional packets containing high protein and energy rich
foods
- Provision of transportation allowance and support and facilitation at the ART centers
- Monthly home visits to provide counseling to parents/ caregivers on ART adherence,
prompt health seeking , appropriate treatment follow up in case of opportunistic
infections, maintaining basic health & hygiene, dietary counseling and to create
awareness about child’s health & care needs
- Growth monitoring
- Counseling on possible side effects of ART and service provider to be reached in
case of emergency
- Psychosocial support to child and the family
- Dietary counseling to the families with special focus on heightened nutritional
needs and on maintaining food hygiene
