At the end of every story, there is a society wake up call, which explains the responsibility
of the community, extended families and parents towards these HIV/AIDS infected/affected
children. At the end, the book also sums up some useful information for caregivers,
about helping children cope with loss, death, and grief. There is information regarding
psychological and emotional responses of HIV/AIDS-infected children and how caregivers
can improve support to these children.

With the feminisation of HIV/AIDS in India, it becomes vital that women living with
HIV/AIDS have proper knowledge about reproductive and sexual health issues. This
is important because all aspects of a women’s reproductive and sexual health, like
conception, delivery, breast feeding, use of contraceptives, and sexually transmitted
infections are affected by her HIV status. Child Survival India thus thought it
appropriate to have a small booklet that could provide all the necessary information
on the above mentioned reproductive and sexual health issues, so that women living
with HIV/AIDS could keep themselves healthy and safe. The book is thus targeted
at women living with HIV/AIDS as also care workers working on care and support.
